The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really happening.
